Kaos Football

Kaos Footballista, John Farnworth from England has become the European Football Freestyle Champion after winning the Eurobach 07 Championships in Vienna, Austria; defeating both Mr Woo (England) and Sean (France) in the Final.

This victory adds to the World Title Championship he won at last year’s Masters of the Game competition in Amsterdam – making him the current World and European Champion! When asked about this incredible achievement at such a tender age, John said “It’s amazing! It was the biggest challenge I’ve had in my career so far as the best Football Freestylers I believe are the Europeans, and to come here and win is fantastic! The overall standard was very high and is only getting better!”

There were five Kaos Footballistas in the invitation only competition (Mr Woo, John Farnworth, Abbas Farid, Nam the Man and Palle), with a total of fourteen competitors from all over Europe. Three of the five members of Team Kaos got through to the final of six with Abbas Farid (Wales) also progressing through from the initial Final Qualifying round. However it must be said that the fact that both Nam the Man and Palle did not make it through to the Final did cause some controversy, with Nam in particular doing enough in the opinion of most to get through!

Other countries represented in the competition included Hungary, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Wales, Bosnia, France, England and Sweden. It is hoped that more competitions of this nature will be conducted in the future and one thing is for sure, Kaos Football is sure to have a strong presence once again.
